P5,P6,M3,D2- Process of making my Final Piece

  • To start with I used a plank of wood measuring 16.5cm as the base for my final product.
  • The plank of wood needs to be drilled with holes enabling the wire to be hot threaded inside.

I measured equal distance for where I wanted the holes to be drilled, making 4 columns and 21 rows. Where the lines cross is where the holes need to be drilled.

  • Holes were then drilled where the lines crossed and the plank of wood was then painted with white paint for a more of a professional look and glossed.

  • I then started to thread through the wire between each hole and attach small pegs on the end of each one to attach the final images.
  • I attached the images onto the pegs and made sure the images were facing the right way so the white on the back of the images was not visible.

I believe that my final piece has turned out very successful as all my original ideas from my plan have been involved in my work. I have used my ideas inspired by Jessica De Muro and Mads Perch in my work.
