The images above are the set up for projections. The first image shows the set-up involving a projector on a tripod with a plate so the actual projector was secure. The projector is then faced towards the two white boards for a background to project onto.
The third image is another set up for projections. However, this set up is completely different. The projector is behind the black board which also is digitally connected to a laptop which is used to select the images to project. The images will project through the hole and go through the triangle. The camera is facing through the triangle right at the projector, whilst flour is being thrown into the light beam the camera will capture the patterns made by the projections.
The contact sheets above is from a shoot I did in the studio of projections. The ones which shows a purple projection were created from using the mini projector which was used against the two white boards for a background for the subjects. The triangle projections were created from capturing the light being projected by projector into the triangle. The last image has been photoshopped as I adjusted the hue and saturation. This was originally my favourite photograph from the shoot as it captured the light from an interesting angle.
