P2, M1, D1-The Sample Experiments

  1. Inspired by Angela Buenning Filo, her hanging wall installation made by wood on a round frame has made me take an interest in doing a sample size of her round frame by using withy and string to attach photographs onto the stick. The photographs will be of projections. The withy will be shaped into a circle and have the diameter of 13cm. The string will also be 13cm long which the images will be hot glued onto. The shape of the constructed piece will relate to mathematics.
  2. The second sample is inspired by Alma Haser, the piece will involve a portraiture photograph of a subject being printed off A4 size and then printing off a second copy to then make into origami similarly to Haser’s work. The origami piece will then be stuck onto the portraiture photograph to give it an abstract look.
  3. The third sample will involve photographs being hung from string from the base of paper as it gives the same form effect as Jessica de Muro’s work. A wall hanging installation is in relation to mathematics as it involves shape. The photographs will be of projections with the height of 5cm with the width 4cm. The string will also be 13cm and the paper base will be half an A4 sheet.
  4. Inspired by Mads Perch, i will take photographs of a subject with shapes and patterns being projected onto them. I will then present these images in a 3D form of free standing cubes made from paper inspired by Michael De Courcy. There will be a variety of images printed off and made into multiple cubes to then give a different perspective of the images.
